Complete examinations before treatment
We believe that oral health requires a big-picture view. We promise to do the most complete examination you have ever had. We will discuss your wants and goals with you. We will help you understand your current oral health status. We will work with you to develop an appropriate treatment plan to reach your goals.
Ultra-low dose digital x-rays
We were the first Venice practice to modernize to computerized digital x-rays in 1998. Ultra-low dosage, ultra-high resolution and chemical-free environmental sensitivity make this the only x-ray system for a modern practice to utilize.
Non-surgical periodontal care
We know that periodontal disease is the single most missed infection in America today. The link between heart, vascular, immune system health and gum disease is unequivocal. Your mouth must be healthy before the rest of your body can be. Our hygienists are specially trained, skilled and experienced in treating gum disease in the most conservative way possible. Single-visit CEREC restorations
We strive for conservative treatment whenever possible. We were the first Venice practice to invest in the CEREC system for much of our crown and partial-crown restorative care. We can remove less tooth-structure and deliver a strong, lifelike porcelain restoration in one sitting. Implant dentistry
Implant Dentistry can be a wonderful part of modern dentistry. Eliminating dentures, removable partials, and conservatively replacing missing teeth can truly be life-changing. We have extensive experience in all of the major types of implant systems and have been restoring dental implants since 1990. Laser surgery
Laser use in dentistry allows us to help our patients in many ways. Ultra-conservative gum surgery, esthetic gumline enhancement, apthous-ulcer treatment, and laser-assisted periodontal disease treatment is at the leading edge of modern care.
Sleep apnea care
As the only Venice area dental practice with membership in the American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine, we have completed additional training in the protocols to help sleep apnea and snoring patients. We have developed an excellent working relationship with the pulmonology specialists at the sleep medicine centers in Venice and Sarasota.
